Summer Undergraduate Research Internship (SURI)

The NASA Institute for Nanoelectronics and Computing and NSF Network for Computating Nanotechnology will offer qualifying students the opportunity to become Summer Undergraduate Research Interns (SURIs). SURIs will join an ongoing cross-disciplinary research project team comprised of faculty and graduate students who have been working on research projects throughout the year. The program will provide the intern with research experience in a project environment.

Criteria for Selection

The Summer Undergraduate Research Intern Program is open to domestic undergraduate students majoring in the Engineering disciplines, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, and Pharmacy. Candidates should be classified at least as a junior five, have an overall G.P.A. of at least 3.0, and be enrolled as a full time undergraduate student who will not graduate before December 2007.

The 2008 SURI program has been combined with the SURF program. Interested students should visit the SURF website for the On-Campus Research at Purdue - Summer 2008 to submit an application.
