K-12 Outreach Programs
On February 3, 25 middle school children from St. Joseph and East Richland Middle Schools in Olney, Illinois visited Purdue. These children were members of the "Future Problem Solving Teams" at their schools. The Future Problem Solving Program engages students in creative problem solving. The topic for their next competition is nanotechnology. During their visit they met with INAC professors to discuss various aspects of nanotechology. The children also toured some of our nanotechnology laboratories and observed some demonstrations.
